Spirit of Camp Sonshine
Through Word of the Week, Camp Sonshine partners with you to support your camper’s growth. Each week, we focus on a value like loyalty, kindness, or confidence, helping them build a strong foundation for life.
Campers of all ages meet together in our daily assembly to connect to the word of the week. Campers engage in activities that reinforce important values like God’s love and explore themes like his unwavering support.
Our Core Values—integrity, community, growth, legendary service, safety, and fun—guide everything we do, creating a positive, inclusive environment where all campers feel safe and encouraged.
Theme of the Week adds excitement to camp with unique activities, games, and crafts based on themes like Superhero, Winter Wonderland, or Spy Week. It’s a fun way for campers to explore new skills, make memories, and bond with friends, making each week an exciting adventure!
